Pan-seared halibut on a bed of butter lettuce with homemade jalapeño vinaigrette and avocado.
I was visiting someone years ago and I bought all the ingredients and prepared this meal… And her husband didn’t even try it. Not one bite. He refused to try anything I made that week. It was so odd and so rude, I’ll (obviously) never forget it.
Anyway! This was absolutely delicious tonight.
