giddygirlie: styro: sblaufuss: Ded. I don’t get this.  Do printers play songs or something?  I’m confused. Mine does this whole “warming up” mumbo jumbo where the printhead thingy slides across the other part and then it aligns itself and makes various high-pitched whining noises and THEN starts to print with that classic “printer sound”. My cat LOATHES the noises the printer makes and he reaches inside to punch the print head every chance he gets. I honestly can’t believe that I’m carrying around a tiny phone/video camera/computer in my pocket but HP can’t make a deskjet that takes less than four minutes to get its shit together before it’ll do any actual WORK. I punch my printer in the face on a regular basis.
