We have two enormous owls that live in our neighborhood. I’ve only seen them once; it was dusk and they were perched menacingly on a streetlight. One of them swooped down to the street and I screamed and peed myself. The good news is that they’re keeping the chicken population under control. Because we all know how annoying it can be when you have more than six chickens in a coop. Producing eggs. Alive. And whatnot.
